Eyebrow Threading

Christy and Jenny sometimes go and get their eyebrows "threaded." It's an Indian alternative to plucking the hairs out. They roll the thead up in this weird way and pull out the hairs. It's about the same amount of pain as plucking hairs, but faster, because they can pull out a lot of hairs at once. It's also more thorough, getting even the tiniest hairs, and they can create really straight lines. I've gone with Jenny and Christy a couple of times. The most recent time we went, I told the lady that I had plucked my eyebrows recently "so, just do what you can." She said, "Alright, I'll see what I can do. But don't do that again!" Below are our before and after pictures. Unfortunately, only some of the pictures are clearly focused, so you don't really get a clear before and after picture. Oh well. Enjoy, anyway.

Pictures I took for people, but have kept to myself for ages

I usually try to keep my camera with me at all times. There have been enough times when I wished I had a camera, but didn't, that it seems like a good idea. Anyway, sometimes I take pictures for other people, but, the thing is, I don't really upload my pictures very often. Here are a couple pictures I took for other people, but never shared with them.

This is the fancy car my nephew Joe built out of pretzels and marshmallows. He built it at his school Christmas party, but he had to dismantle it to bring it home, so I took this picture for posterity. I think Joe is a genius.

Here's another angle so you can admire his craftmanship.

This is Thanksgiving dinner. My stepdad cooked a cornocopia of delicious food. I think he wanted this picture like the day after Thanksgiving so he could post it on his blog. Sorry!
