The 6th Challenge

This is a photo of my two sisters, my dad, my stepmom and my half brother. I think it was all the kids living with my dad at the time- 1990-91. I know you are jealous of our awesome hair.

These are my "major" burns, and do not include a variety of minor burns I have received in the last 6 months. Yes, I do think there is something wrong with me. If I was superhero, I think this would be my fatal weakness.

A little bit of this and a little bit of that

So, carrying your camera with you everywhere has a price, and that price is that something sharp breaks the viewfinder because you don't keep your camera in a case, you fool. I decided that while the damage might be repairable, it would probably cost almost as much as buying a new camera (and protective carrying case), so that's what I did. It is almost exactly like my old camera, but has more megapixels (due to the advancements of time.) I will take a picture of my fancy broken screen sometime when I feel like it. Until then, you must wait!

For Valentine's Day, Todd and I decided to pull our money and start saving to buy a video camera. Both of us think it would be fun to make our own weird movies, so, it seemed like the best way to afford it. Of course, Todd couldn't help but surprise me by buying me flowers. They were really pretty tulips. I'll get a picture of them up at some point. Unfortunately, I have a little bit of a bug, so we mostly just hung out at home and I just whined about not feeling good most of the day. Besides that it was a good day. :)

Last month, mom taught me how to knit, and I've been working on a scarf. I'm almost done with it, which is pretty cool. Once I finish it, I'll take a picture of me modeling it for your enjoyment. I'll have to do a whole complement post to this one that includes all the pictures I'm not inserting now. It will be fancy, just wait and see.

Geocaching

My dad is into something called "Geocaching." You use a GPS to search for little "caches" that people have hidden all around the place. It was actually pretty fun. I might think about getting a GPS and trying it out myself sometime when I have a little extra money.

Things I found in the library

Sometimes, I find random things when I wander around the library. Here are a few of the ones I liked enough to put on my bulletin board at work. Perhaps I am a weirdo.

Little people. I'm not sure what's up with the purple lady. My guess is that she came from some sort of fast food kids meal. The little orange striped pajama guy is one of my favorites. He kinda reminds me of my nephew Joe. Not because Joe looks like that, but because Joe draws little pictures and cuts them out for elaborate games he invents.

I normally try to block out names and phone numbers and such things when I post images on my blog, but I really have no idea what that word following "I love you" is. Who was this note meant for? I like to think it was meant for me and my library. See the note below.

Not as nice. I really can't imagine the purpose of this note. Also, since it doesn't appear to have been delivered, does Aunt Phyllis know her fate yet?

Now, this is what makes it all worthwhile.
