Bulletin Boards

Part of my job is to make bulletin boards for the kids area. I can't say they are too fancy, but here are my most recent creations. The bugs in the second one are copyrighted artwork for the summer reading program, so I'm going to take the picture down soon and hope I don't get in trouble.

Plants

Skip gave me some plants he'd started as seedlings. Here are 4 of the 6.

Beefsteak tomato

Roma tomato
Morning glory

Catnip
I also have basil and parlsey. So, now is the time for bets about which plant will die first. My money is on the morning glory.

Scorpion

This is a photo of the second scorpion Todd and I have found in the house. Actually, our cat Casey found them both. I guess he's actually good for something. Ha Ha! Sorry for the gross smear of its bodily fluids. My editing is not advanced enough to take it out digitally. The floor boards are only 2-3 inches wide, so you can see it's a little guy. It still freaks me out though. You might think that since I am a Scorpio I'd be cool with it, but no, I am not. Mango also found a centipede the other day. First of all I am shocked and surprised because neither cat has ever before been at all useful as far as wildlife goes. Also, we are wild kingdom. Todd put down some glue traps, which I know are kinda evil, but hey, just because I'm a vegetarian doesn't mean I'm a nice lady. I will post more pictures of scary bugs as they become available.

Another Exciting Post

I have a replacement phone now. $65 for a phone that has a lot more wear and tear on it than the one that broke, which, I should add, I only had for about 3 months. Grrrr!

Anyway, my contact list wasn't saved to my sim card, so I don't have anyone's phone number anymore. Well, I have five people's phone numbers. So, anyone who thinks I should have your phone number please email me. I am assuming that if I should have your phone number, you should have my email address.

UPDATE: I found a copy of my address book on my account online. Unfortunately, it didn't want to make it's way back to my phone, so I had to enter all the numbers by hand. Luckily, no one loves me, so no one responded to this blog anyway.

Woe is me!

My phone broke in half. I am trying to figure out how to acquire a new one for less than a billion dollars. It is complicated by the fact that I have MyFaves with TMobile and the phone has to have a special program on it. Boo! I will try to check my messages frequently, but if you call I won't be answering for few days.
